اس پہ کچھ بھی اثر نہیں ہوتا

کوکب مرادآبادی

اس پہ کچھ بھی اثر نہیں ہوتا

بے خبر با خبر نہیں ہوتا

دل میں کب جلوہ گر نہیں ہوتا

کب وہ پیش نظر نہیں ہوتا

تجھ سے دل بے خبر نہیں ہوتا

نہیں ہوتا مگر نہیں ہوتا

کیا کٹھن منزل محبت ہے

خضر بھی ہم سفر نہیں ہوتا

حال مہجور پوچھتے کیا ہو

ہوش دودو پہر نہیں ہوتا

کیا کہوں بدگمانیاں دل کی

اعتبار نظر نہیں ہوتا

اس پہ رحمت کو ناز ہوتا ہے

جس دعا میں اثر نہیں ہوتا

پھر دوبارہ نظر نہیں اٹھتی

عشق بار دگر نہیں ہوتا

نور کوکبؔ نے وہ ضیا پائی

کہ مقابل قمر نہیں ہوتا

be-KHabar ba-KHabar nahin hota

dil mein kab jalwa-gar nahin hota
kab wo pesh-e-nazar nahin hota

tujh se dil be-KHabar nahin hota
nahin hota magar nahin hota

kya kaThin manzil-e-mohabbat hai
KHizr bhi ham-safar nahin hota

haal-e-mahjur puchhte kya ho
hosh do-do pahar nahin hota

kya kahun bad-gumaniyan dil ki
etibar-e-nazar nahin hota

us pe rahmat ko naz hota hai
jis dua mein asar nahin hota

phir dobara nazar nahin uThti
ishq bar-e-digar nahin hota

nur-e-'kaukab' ne wo ziya pai
ki muqabil qamar nahin hota
