ہماری غم عاشقی گر وبا ہے

تو کیا پھر ترے پاس کوئی دوا ہے

تری یاد کل رات پھر ایسے گزری

کہ جیسے گزرتی یہ پاگل ہوا ہے

ہمیں بھی بتا نا ہماری طرح پھر

کسے تیری افسردگی کا پتہ ہے

گلہ کیا کریں چھوڑ جانے بھی دے اب

رہے تو بلندی پہ میری دعا ہے

تجھے کیا خبر تیری ناراضگی نے

رضامندی کو کیسے کیسے چھوا ہے

اب اکتا رہے ہم بھی ہیں عاشقی سے

اور اس پر ترا شہر بھی ناروا ہے

خزاں کا یہ موسم یہ بے چینی حامدؔ

یہی تیری سادہ دلی کی سزا ہے

hamari gham-e-ashiqi gar waba hai
to kya phir tere pas koi dawa hai

teri yaad kal raat phir aise guzri
ki jaise guzarti ye pagal hawa hai

hamein bhi bata na hamari tarah phir
kise teri afsurdagi ka pata hai

gila kya karen chhoD jaane bhi de ab
rahe tu bulandi pe meri dua hai

tujhe kya KHabar teri naraazgi ne
raza-mandi ko kaise kaise chhua hai

ab ukta rahe hum bhi hain aashiqi se
aur is par tera shahar bhi narawa hai

KHizan ka ye mausam ye bechaini 'hamid'
yahi teri sada-dili key saza hai
