شوق سے آپ یہ انگریزی دوا بھی لیتے

حسیب سوز

شوق سے آپ یہ انگریزی دوا بھی لیتے

ہم فقیروں سے مگر تھوڑی دعا بھی لیتے

اس لئے ہنسنے ہنسانے کی بنا لی عادت

میں جو روتا تو کئی لوگ مزا بھی لیتے

تیرے بکنے کی خبر کاش کہ پہلے ہوتی

اتنی دولت تو مری جان کما بھی لیتے

اب کوئی بیس برس بعد یہ احساس ہوا

چاہتے ہم تو کہیں ہاتھ چھڑا بھی لیتے

اس قدر بوجھ تھا دل پر ہمیں مرنا ہی پڑا

زہر تھوڑا سا جو ہوتا تو پچا بھی لیتے

hum faqiron se magar thoDi dua bhi lete

is liye hansne-hansane ki bana li aadat
main jo rota to kai log maza bhi lete

tere bikne ki KHabar kash ki pahle hoti
itni daulat to meri jaan kama bhi lete

ab koi bis baras baad ye ehsas hua
chahte hum to kahin hath chhuDa bhi lete

is qadar bojh tha dil par hamein marna hi paDa
zahr thoDa sa jo hota to pacha bhi lete
