کہتا رہے زمانہ گنہ گار زندگی

فروغ زیدی

کہتا رہے زمانہ گنہ گار زندگی

کچھ لوگ جی رہے ہیں مزے دار زندگی

کردار اپنا اپنا نبھاتے ہیں سب یہاں

سمجھو نہ تم کسی کی ہے بیکار زندگی

اک وقفۂ اجل بھی تو آتا ہے درمیاں

چلتی نہیں کسی کی لگاتار زندگی

آگے نکل چکے تھے ہم اپنے وجود سے

پھر بھی ہوئی نہ کم تری رفتار زندگی

رستے کئی حسین نکلتے جہاں سے تھے

لائی تھی ایسے موڑ پہ اک بار زندگی

ہے زندگی سے شکوہ انہیں بھی بہت فروغؔ

حصے میں جن کے آئی ہے گلزار زندگی

kahta rahe zamana gunahgar zindagi
kuchh log ji rahe hain mazedar zindagi

kirdar apna apna nibhate hain sab yahan
samjho na tum kisi ki hai be-kar zindagi

ek waqfa-e-ajal bhi to aata hai darmiyan
chalti nahin kisi ki lagatar zindagi

aage nikal chuke the hum apne wajud se
phir bhi hui na kam teri raftar zindagi

raste kai hasin nikalte jahan se the
lai thi aise moD pe ek bar zindagi

hai zindagi se shikwa unhen bhi bahut 'farogh'
hisse mein jin ke i hai gulzar zindagi
