یا ستم کر یا کرم چاہے سو کر

بال مکند بے صبر

یا ستم کر یا کرم چاہے سو کر

چاہتے ہیں تجھ کو ہم چاہے سو کر

مار چاہے چھوڑ مجھ کو جیتے جی

میں نہ چھوڑوں گا قدم چاہے سو کر

بزم میں محروم مت رکھ دے مجھے

جام مے یا جام سم چاہے سو کر

کفر یا اسلام کچھ کر اختیار

ایک ہے دیر و حرم چاہے سو کر

مار کھاؤں گا پر آنے کی یہاں

میں نہ کھاؤں گا قسم چاہے سو کر

اب تو میں شکوہ کروں گا ہو سو ہو

ناک میں آیا ہے دم چاہے سو کر

اک غزل تو اور بھی بیصبرؔ تو

اس زمیں میں کر رقم چاہے سو کر

ya sitam kar ya karam chahe so kar
chahte hain tujh ko hum chahe so kar

mar chahe chhoD mujh ko jite ji
main na chhoDunga qadam chahe so kar

bazm mein mahrum mat rakh de mujhe
jam-e-mai ya jam-e-sam chahe so kar

kufr ya islam kuchh kar iKHtiyar
ek hai dair-o-haram chahe so kar

mar khaunga par aane ki yahan
main na khaunga qasam chahe so kar

ab to main shikwa karunga ho so ho
nak mein aaya hai dam chahe so kar

ek ghazal to aur bhi 'besabr' tu
is zamin mein kar raqam chahe so kar
