پھیلی ہے دھوپ جذبۂ اسفار دیکھ کر

عقیل جامد

پھیلی ہے دھوپ جذبۂ اسفار دیکھ کر

ہرگز ٹھہر نہ سایۂ اشجار دیکھ کر

چل آ وہیں چلیں کہ جہاں شور و شر نہ ہو

تنگ آ گیا ہوں گرمئ بازار دیکھ کر

افواہ وہ اڑی تھی کہ میں کل بہت ہنسا

روتا ہوں آج صبح کا اخبار دیکھ کر

ایسا نہ ہو کہ قوم کا بیڑا ہی غرق ہو

تقریر جھاڑ قوم کے معمار دیکھ کر

جامدؔ مرا وجود ہے ملبہ بنا ہوا

اک خوف سر اٹھاتا ہے دیوار دیکھ کر
