ہاتھ میرے ہیں بندھے ہاتھ ملاؤں کیسے

پاس ہو کر بھی تیرے پاس میں آؤں کیسے

میرے اندر بھی مچلتا ہے سمندر لیکن

تیرے ہونٹوں کی ابھی پیاس بجھاؤں کیسے

وقت نے ڈال دی زنجیر میرے پیروں میں

دوڑ کر تجھ کو گلے یار لگاؤں کیسے

زہر آلودہ میرے ہاتھ ہوئے ہیں ہمدم

پیار کا جام بھلا تجھ کو پلاؤں کیسے

وقت کم اور میرے سامنے یہ لمبا سفر

تیری زلفوں میں حسیں شام بتاؤں کیسے

سامنے رہتی ہے محبوب کی صورت میرے

یا خدا سجدے میں سر اپنا جھکاؤں کیسے

بوجھ سر پر ہے فرائض کا انیسؔ اب میرے

پھر بتا سر پہ تیرے ناز اٹھاؤں کیسے

pas ho kar bhi tere pas main aaun kaise

mere andar bhi machalta hai samundar lekin
tere honTon kei abhi pyas bujhaun kaise

waqt ne Dal di zanjir mere pairon mein
dauD kar tujh ko gale yar lagaun kaise

zahr-aluda mere hath hue hain hamdam
pyar ka jam bhala tujh ko pilaun kaise

waqt come aur mere samne ye lamba safar
teri zulfon mein hasin sham bitaun kaise

samne rahti hai mahbub kei surat mere
ya-KHuda sajde mein sar apna jhukaun kaise

bojh sar par hai faraez ka 'anis' ab mere
phir bata sar pe tere naz uThaun kaise
