The University of Houston System's overarching vision is to become one of the nation's finest metropolitan university systems, with a nationally recognized Tier One research university at its center. To that end, the Board of Regents, Chancellor Renu Khator and the university presidents lead their institutions in comprehensive planning, budgeting and performance evaluation in order to fulfill this strategic direction.
