U-Haul International Inc., the undisputed leader in do-it-yourself moving and storage, encourages communities across the country to become actively involved in preserving their past. U-Haul supports these efforts through the company's "Commemorative" SuperGraphics campaign. U-Haul unveiled its first spectacular "Commemorative" SuperGraphics during the Veteran's Day parades in New York City and Phoenix, on Nov. 11, 2004. The graphics pay tribute to the U.S. armed forces. "U-Haul has been imaging its moving trucks and trailers with vibrant graphics featuring distinctive icons of every U.S. state and Canadian province since 1988," explained John "J.T." Taylor, U-Haul executive vice president. "Many of our SuperGraphics give tribute to significant events, anniversaries and preserved historical sites." U-Haul is proud to raise awareness of the richness of our nation's history by honoring our men and women in the armed services who have given so selflessly to protect our great country. This initiative demonstrates how critically important it is to document and preserve our history for future generations.
