Minnesota girls are invited to a no-cost Girlhood Summit offered Nov. 2 at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul.

The Ann Bancroft Foundation, whose mission is to support girls to “live their dreams,” will host a full day of programming intended for middle and high school girls.

Speakers include Bancroft, the polar explorer, and former WNBA player Rebekkah Brunson. Workshop topics include career exploration, personal finance, mental health, STEM education and entrepreneurial design thinking.

Two sessions, “Panel of Firsts” and “Trailblazers Rising: Talks from Youth” will be open to the public.

Artifacts from the Smithsonian Institution will be on display as part of the History Center’s “Girlhood (It’s complicated)” exhibition.
