For the life of me, I do not understand in any logical way how Democrats think. Their last almost four years has been fraught with unmeasurable harm to our country.

In our community, hidden gems often go unnoticed until they’re needed. Daisy’s Place in Florence is one such gem — a supportive home for out-of-town caregivers of patients receiving treatment at nearby facilities.

Wake up: All states and landmarks represent history of some kind. Anyone who wants U.S. history to be taken down is not a true American.

All you Pro-lifers out there, you are aware enough to understand why the rich folk want a complete abortion ban? They’ve calculated how many worker ants they will need in 16 years and who will flip their burgers if you don’t have any workers?

As of June this year, the cost of our debt is $868 billion. This is our fourth largest expense, surpassed by only Social Security, Medicare and the Defense Department. Our defense budget is also larger than that of the next nine countries combined.

I am so disappointed. The most effective president of my lifetime has been forced to bow out of the presidential race because of one bad debate against the most flawed Republican candidate in American history.

TV coverage of the Republican National Convention offered our first view of Donald Trump, post assassin’s deadly event of July 13. To the credit of the vast majority of politicians, pundits, strategists, and the media, they have featured the raised fist and “fight” evidence of Trump’s determ…

Most want the Tennessee River to be clean and free of harmful chemicals — and the air at the same. We depend on the EPA, ADEM and other government entities to monitor industries in the region.
