SpaceX says its 6th Starship flight test ‘delivered.’

The Starship vehicle successfully reignited a single Raptor engine while in space before splashing down in the Indian Ocean, writes SpaceX.

Unlike the 5th flight test, this one didn’t include a tower catch for the booster, as “automated health checks of critical hardware on the launch and catch tower triggered an abort of the catch attempt,” and it diverted to the Gulf of Mexico.

A hacker reportedly acquired ‘damaging’ evidence against Matt Gaetz.

The former congressman selected as Trump’s attorney general has come up in connection to a defamation lawsuit filed by one of his friends, as the New York Times reports a hacker has obtained evidence shared among lawyers on the case:

OpenAI is paying Dotdash Meredith at least $16 million a year to license its content for AI.

Dotdash Meredith, the publisher of People, Better Homes & Gardens, and InStyle, announced a licensing deal with OpenAI in May (as did The Verge's parent company, Vox Media). Now, AdWeek is reporting this $16 million minimum figure based on comments from a recent earnings call:

Overwatch 2 and Apex Legends follow Fortnite by going back to the beginning.

Last year’s Fortnite OG event has attracted a new round of free-to-play copycats.

Apex Legends responded to revenue that EA execs said “fell short of expectations” with a “Launch Royale” revisiting the original map and characters until November 19th.

And now, Blizzard announced Overwatch Classic is coming tomorrow with 6v6, no-limits gameplay like Overwatch had at its very beginning.

The Stream Deck Plus is ready to get dialed in.

When we reviewed Elgato’s Stream Deck Plus two years ago, our big complaint was the lack of plug-in support for its dials. If you’re still struggling with that, the new 6.8 software update might help.

Along with easy setup swapping, it adds Action Trigger to assign actions intended for the Deck’s buttons to dials, even if a plug-in lacks native support.

TikTok’s Canadian arm has been ordered to shut down by the government.

Industry minister François-Philippe Champagne says the government is acting “to address the specific national security risks related to ByteDance Ltd.’s operations in Canada.”

However, Canada is not attempting to ban or control the TikTok app:

The government is not blocking Canadians’ access to the TikTok application or their ability to create content. The decision to use a social media application or platform is a personal choice.

TikTok has responded, saying it would challenge the order in court.
