Pokémon Horizons is heading to the land of Laqua next February.

Though the excellent Pokétoon web series has just wrapped for the season, Netflix is getting ready to drop the next chapter of its (very different, but still very good) mainline Pokémon anime that will follow as Liko (Alejandra Reynoso), Roy (Anjali Kunapaneni), and Dot (Faye Mata) set out to find the legendary land of Laqua. The new episodes are scheduled to debut on February 7th.

Dope Thief coming.

There will never be another show quite like HBO’s The Wire. But Apple TV Plus sounds like it’s going to try to recapture that magic with Dope Thief, Peter Craig’s new series based on Dennis Tafoya’s 2009 novel about “long-time Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise.”

The first two (of eight) episodes premiere on March 14th.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s upcoming Black Rayquaza Tera Raid Event running from December 19th to January 5th is technically an anime tie-in. But the release of a shiny legendary two years after the games’ debut feels like a sign of there being a new generation right around the corner.

Act One of Arcane’s final season closed out on a shot that lent even more credence to fans’ theories about how Warwick might be introduced into the series. And it seems like after Act Two drops this weekend, we’ll know how the werewolf came to be.

Dune: Prophecy is a slow and cerebral meditation on the power of patience

HBO’s new Dune prequel series sharpens the Bene Gesserit’s history into a pointed drama that calls for some patience.
