HS ROUNDUP: Clementoni leads North Pocono to victory over Abington Heights; Elk Lake wins Division III showdown

Ella Clementoni hit four 3-pointers for 19 points and led No. 9 North Pocono to a 43-37 win over No. 8 Abington Heights in a Lackawanna Division I girls basketball game on Friday night.

Anna Clementoni added nine points for North Pocono (7-5, 1-3) in the 17th annual Pink Night Game that raises money for the Foundation for Cancer Care.

Madeleine Walsh scored 14 points and Maggie Coleman added 13 for No. 8 Abington Heights (7-5, 3-1).

Wallenpaupack 38, Delaware Valley 26: Ella Smith scored 19 points to lead the Lady Buckhorns to a win in the United Pink Game for Cancer at Wallenpaupack in Division I.

Sarah Decker added nine points for the Lady Buckhorns (6-6, 2-2).

Krystina Orby scored six points for Delaware Valley (5-7, 1-3).

Dunmore 67, Mid Valley 30: Sophia Talutto and Amanda Dempsey each scored 17 points to lead the third-ranked Lady Bucks to a win over No. 10 Mid Valley in a Division II game.

Dempsey had six points and Talutto had five as Dunmore jetted out to a 22-11 lead after the first quarter.

Jackie Brown added 10 points for Dunmore (10-2, 4-0).

Krista Cortazar scored nine points for Mid Valley (8-4, 3-1).

Honesdale 59, Riverside 35: Ruby Martin got off to a fast start with seven of her 15 points in the first quarter to lead the seventh-ranked Lady Hornets to a Division II win.

Karsyn Kromko added 14 points for Honesdale (9-2, 3-0).

Caitie Beecham scored nine points to pace Riverside (5-7, 1-3).

Holy Cross 41, Lakeland 37:  Lila Kolcharno scored all 17 of her points in the second half to lead the Lady Crusaders to a Division II win.

Ava Schmidt added 14 points for Holy Cross (5-7, 1-3).

Naomi Rude scored 17 points and Kaylyn Davis added 13 for Lakeland (2-9, 0-4).

Elk Lake 40, Mountain View 33: Madisyn Casselbury scored 11 points to lead the sixth-ranked Lady Warriors to a win over No. 5 Mountain View in a Division III defensive battle for first place.

Kylie Shingler and Katie McGlynn each added four  in a 17-point third quarter for Elk Lake (10-1, 4-0).

Aubrey Sanders scored 11 and Addison Kilmer had 10 for Mountain View (9-3, 3-1).

Montrose 53, Blue Ridge 36: Sadie Jones scored 17 points to lead the Lady Meteors who remained undefeated in Division III play.

Hailey Aukema added 10 points for Montrose (5-6, 4-0).

Abigail Gelinger had 19 points to lead Blue Ridge (2-10, 0-4).

Lackawanna Trail 44, Susquehanna 29: Anikah Toth scored nine points to lead a balanced attack by the Lady Lions in a Division III win.

Reagan Norman and Aubrie Pinney each scored eight points fpr Lackawanna Trail (4-8, 3-1).

Adrianna Roickwell had eight points to lead Susquehanna (1-10, 1-3).

Boys basketball

Sam Wood and Tyler Lombardo each scored 15 points to lead No. 10 Delaware Valley to a 53-29 win over Wallenpaupack in a Lackawanna Division I game.

Wood drilled four 3-pointers in the third quarter, and Lombardo scored 11 points in the second quarter for the Warriors (9-3 overall, 2-2 in Division I).

Justin Blanding scored 15 points to lead Wallenpaupack (7-4, 1-3).
