What is the smallest shower you can make?

According to the International Residential Code, the smallest shower is required to be no less than 900 square inches (or 30” x 30”). The standard shower size is 32” x 32”.

What is the least expensive way to add a shower?

A prefabricated shower kit is often the least expensive way to add a shower to your bathroom. The cost of installing a shower will also depend on its size, the materials that you choose, and the cost of labor in your area. According to HomeAdvisor, the cost of adding or replacing a shower ranges between $3,789 and $11,371.

How close can a toilet be to a walk-in shower?

While bathroom building codes vary, experts generally recommend placing the front of a toilet at least 21 inches away from a shower, or 30 inches away for optimal comfort. Side clearance is generally a minimum of 15 inches from the center of the toilet, or 18 inches for maximum comfort. Keep in mind that a small wet room may include a shower that is much closer to the toilet.
