The lady who played Sally was beautiful, interesting and all around excellent. If as a teenager she could have done this scifi show in 1984 ( with some different actors) it could have been really great.
PS In short she was better than the show. Does she realize if you write out 3rd as "third" no such will seemingly come up.

"3rd Rock from the Sun" was a comedy; and it was on for 6 seasons. Maybe I'd could get behind it being labeled a "Sci-Fi comedy"; but definitely wouldn't
it (or any show that lasted 6 seasons) as being "doomed from the start!"

It is just as accurate to label a show like this as scifi as it is to call it a comedy.
Six years long on air has nothing to do with it. I am saying like everything on TV starting in 1985 on it was bad. Remember the Newsweek 1983 cover article that said Mash was ending and would prime time TV ever be as good again. Answer: NO!!!
