Hardness testers. (Literature: instruments).
The Cogenix range of hardness testers, consisting of IRHD and durometer scale instruments, is featured in company literature. For the IRHD scale, the company manufactures a dead load (H14), a micro model (H12), as well as supplying durometer scale instruments conforming to A, D, M and O scales (H17). All models are digital, fully automatic bench mounted instruments which have been designed to conform to international standards for the testing of rubber and elastomers, according to the literature. Four models are offered for each instrument type, including a basic standalone instrument, one with a printer, one with a printer and a data input terminal, and one with Windows compatible PC software.
