Please enjoy. I took this video tour of my house about half an hour before my Christmas Eve dinner guests started to arrive. I have the unreasonable yet undeniable urge to tell you I had planned on using linen napkins and at the last minute swapped them out for paper.
After this was all over with and the only reason I have the time to send this video out tonight, is because my niece cleaned everything up and washed all the dishes while I got drunk on 2.5 ounces of wine by the fire with Betty.

How do you keep Philip from knocking off ornaments? My Labrador retriever has a weapon of a tail. We use a 4-foot tree on a table because it's impossible to have anything on branches lower than that. Just curious if you've trained him to stay away or he does naturally.

Thank you Karen. I just saw this today. I loved the video & the music. The music was perfect. It made me feel better - we had to postpone our Christmas because me & my husband both had covid & we're still coughing & taking it easy. Some of our other family members had covid too. But I'm leaving our Christmas up until we can all get together. Thanks for the uplift. And Lip is beautiful as always.

Ending with Lip is exactly what a true dog lover/mom would do! Relaxing and happy and welcoming, all in one. I do miss the blue birds but understand the need for continuity with a theme.

So very lovely - obviously a great deal of work. What a magical house you have: old with new, mid-century modern with antique, etc. The colors are just so warm and inviting. Lucky guests. I was getting scared that we would not see Phillip - but alas, he made a very fine finale.

I don't have enough kitchen counter space to decorate in the kitchen. I like the skis by the fireplace. At out house it would be kayak paddles. But we are using them. Love the music you chose.
