Expertise
Gluten-Free cooking, Coffee, Ingredients
- Kashmir swapped Sydney for Barcelona in 2019 and now considers tortilla de patatas one of the five food groups.
- Since giving up gluten she's discovered a whole new world of alternatives, but still hasn't found a suitable substitute for croissants or xiao long bao.
- She can't start the day without a home-brewed coffee - preferably made with an AeroPress.
Experience
Working as a writer and editor for more than a decade, Kashmir has covered pretty much any topic you can think of, but she always comes back to food. She managed one of Australia's largest online restaurant guides and contributed to guidebooks on Sydney's best food stores. Along the way, Kashmir launched (and ended) a food blog and wrote far too many bar reviews. She now manages translations for all things coffee-related at Home Grounds.
Education
Kashmir has a bachelor's degree in linguistics from the Australian National University.
