The Psychology Political Action Committee (Psychology PAC) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to the widest possible audiences, including those with visual, hearing, motor, and/or cognitive disabilities.

This statement outlines our ongoing approach to making the Psychology PAC website accessible to all user groups by aspiring to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C WAI).

We have completed implementation of many compliant accessibility features, including defined language in source code, skip to main content function and clear indicators of keyboard focus, alternative (ALT) attributes for appropriate images and other context elements, minimum 4.5:1 color contrast for text and functional images, responsive pages that fit a variety of browser windows, non-flickering imagery and screens, closed captioning for videos, and inclusion of contact information on every page. We are currently working on implementing and/or improving the implementation of additional compliant accessibility features.

We value your opinions and are always seeking ways to improve and make our websites and applications better. If you are interested in helping us test for usability and/or accessibility, please contact us.
