Nonpoint is an American nu metal band formed in 1997 in Florida. The band is currently comprised of Elias Soriano, Robb Rivera, Rasheed Thomas, B.C. Kochmit and Adam Woloszyn. Together they have released eight studio albums.
Regulars within the For Lauderdale metal scene, Rob Rivera and Elias Soriano formed Nonpoint in 1997. Their intention was to ride the wave of nu metal experimentation coming out of their corner of Florida. Determined to put some material out into the world, the band self-released their first album “Separate Yourself†in 1998. The work picked up some buzz and ultimately won the band representation from MCA Records.
Nonpoint’s first album on the MCA Records label was 2010 release “Statementâ€. The band aggressively toured the album throughout the US and promoted their tracks through festivals such as Ozzfest. The constant promotion finally paid off as sales of their album peaked and the album placed in the US Billboard Hot 200 chart and single “What a Day†hit the number 24 spot in the US Mainstream Rock chart.
With the momentum and fan base the band’s constant touring and promotion had won, Nonpoint released “Development†in 2002 and the album charted over a hundred spots higher on the US charts than its predecessor. With this success under their belts and the fresh influences of a new label at their disposal, the band released the 2004 album “Recoilâ€, where single “The Truth†earned the band its highest chart placement yet reaching the number 22 spot on the US Mainstream Rock Charts.
The band continued to pick up fans through constant touring and album releases between 2005 and 2014, all of which paved the way for the release of their most successful work to date: “The Returnâ€. This 2014 album climbed to the number 39 spot on the US charts after the band generated excitement around its release via social networking sites such as Facebook.

Their debut album Statement, released in 2000 on MCA, came at a time when contemporary heavy metal music was starting to all sound the same, and Nonpoint, though a league above most of the other newcomers, didn’t exactly represent a progressive turning…point.
The fact that they’re still recording and performing in 2012 is a testament to both their resilience and the devoted fanbase that they’ve amassed through heavy touring. Nonpoint have been much more generous in dishing out live tours in the US, but the UK was treated to a storming Download performance in 2010, around the release of their commercially successful album, Miracle. The soaring, melodic vocals of Elias Soriano and the stomping, hard-rock riffs are built for bigger open-air venues than the dingy clubs that they tend to perform in, but make no mistake, Nonpoint approach every gig with the same take-no-prisoners attitude, no matter where they’re playing.
They’re back with a new album, so keep your eyes peeled for shows. Their moody, subtly proggy and melodic metal deserves a wider audience.
Nonpoint never fails to deliver! First night of the tour and Nonpoint was ON POINT!! Nice mix of new songs, old songs, and favorites. The Red Tape Tour is a tour that no one should miss. The band is always so gracious. I bought the official Tour tee and stayed around after the show for pics, autographs, and conversation. Love these guys!!!
Amazing as always! Nonpoint has such an intense energy when they perform live. They always give all they have on stage. Add in the fact that their song library is so vast and you have the makings of a great show every time. If you haven't seen nonpoint live then I urge you to run to their next closest concert and enjoy the show!
As always nonpoint delivered an amazing show. One of the best bands around and such amazing guys on and off the stage. Not only amazing musically but robb and elias took the time after the show to take pics with and sign autographs for the fans. Love nonpoint
Nonpoint rocked! I thought they were a little out of sync on that first song but they nailed every song after that with great showmanship and energy. This was my third time at a Nonpoint concert and I hope I get to see them again.
All I can say is awesome!!! Super energy put out to the crowd. I have been going to metal concerts since 1989. Nonpoint is definitely in my top 10!!

Nonpoint was awesome!!! It was my first time to see them and they definitely brought it!It did suck they had to cut the set short. Just as gd live as the CD and with great energy!!! Dec 2nd in Clarksville I'm there!!!
As always Nonpoint put on a great high energy show. I can honestly say I have seen them 3 times in the last year and every time is awesome even standing in the rain at Rocklahoma 2015. #Nonpoint4life

The show was freaking awesome. I really enjoyed how they got everyone pumped, both longtime fans and newcomers. I also really enjoyed the opening acts, which really went well with the headliner.
