Live reviews

  • This is an absolutely must-see band anytime they come within reasonable distance of my location. I'd re-schedule my own wedding to avoid a conflict with one of their shows.

Reverend Peyton is a flat-out monster on guitar, and Breezy will burn up the washboard right before your eyes. Couple the amazingly unique sound with fast, pounding drums and you'll be on your feet and clapping to the rhythm right from the get-go. This is a high energy show, much more entertaining than just what the music has to offer, and you'll get an education on some musical roots and blues history along the way.

When I first saw the Big Damn Band, I was at Warped Tour. I have really never big a big country fan, and even less interested in blues music; that all changed. I knew this band was something magical when I saw a teen angst-filled crowd form a circle pit, dancing a jig or hoe down in what seemed like slow-motion compared to the usual scene of other punk/hardcore bands on that tour.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!

Reverend and his band played unbelievably. He is so talented. Changed guitars nine or ten times. They connection between the band members was also great. They were kind and great with the audience for no more people than was there. They signed my fiancé’s dobro I bought him for hisbirthday. He couldn’t make it, he was in a blizzard driving a truck. They gladly signed it. Kind people. Ended the show with a gospel song. Great way to end the night. Love that she plays the washboard and is damn good at it. Bringing that old time feel with a Little Rock n roll back. Get a chance, I highly recommend going and seeing them. 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way!!!!

    Sincerely, Ms. Ginger Leah Davis

  • Kick butt show! Country/classic delta blues band that ROCKS!! The Rev is a freakin' guitar pickin' virtuoso!! Super high energy show! They're really good at interacting with the crowd. The Rev interlaces some stories and descriptions of his guitar technique between songs. They are a MUST SEE band. Track them down, take a road trip and you won't be disappointed, even if rockin' blues isn't your fave genre.

  • The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band never fail to entertain and this was no exception. Pure musical joy from start to finish. Whilst the Rev plays his many guitars in his own amazing style it's easy to take Breezy on Washboard and Maxon drums for granted but together as a trio they are awesome. If there's one damn and you should see live it's this Damn and!

  • I have seen them 6 times now and the energy they have on stage is great. The music is front and center but the show is always entertaining. I see a concert every month and this is one of the best live shows around.
