I was lucky enough to see Griffin House live in Portland at the Bing Lounge and I instantly became a fan.
Griffin was on stage, a simple man with just his guitar and a beautiful and soft voice. He did a song called Better Than Love and I could feel that song so much. It made me think about my relationship. At the time I was going through a situation and I felt so close to Griffin. There are some songs that just take you away because you are either going through the situation or you have been through it before. I just closed my eyes and listened to the words and I was instantly taken to a familiar place that I loved to be, in the arms of my loved one.
The audience was captivated by his words because you could tell they had been through something similar as well and no one took their eyes off of him. Even though I was in a room full of people I felt as though Griffin was singing to me. I like it when an artist can be so intimate with me, yet in reality don't even know who I am.
Outstanding show, as always. Griffin performs with his whole heart and soul, completely engaged with his fans. I never miss his show when he comes to town, and always look to see if he's in town whenever I travel.
Fantastic show! There's something great about hearing the story behind the song and Griffin is an amazing story teller. The show was very intimate. You're missing out if you've never seen Griffin live!
Amazing artist, storyteller, poet and all around performer. Clearly a person doing what they were born to do. I will definitely be seeing Griffin perform again in the future. He just got a new fan!
Always a great show. From the stories to the songs, Griffin House is a amazing performer. He is a must see every time he's in town. He always makes time for his fans before and after the show.
This was a fabulous performance. It was a wonderfully initiate setting. We got to meet and converse with Griffin House. We will go again to this venue and to see Griffin.
This guy is really talented. We loved his music. He has a good sense of humor. Glad he had CD'S to sell. Hope he comes back again. Nice listening music.
