Dictionary & Thesaurus Fun

The document discusses two common reference materials, the dictionary and thesaurus. It notes that a dictionary contains alphabetical lists of words with their meanings, origins, and pronunciations. Meanwhile, a thesaurus contains synonyms and sometimes antonyms that are grouped by similar meanings, in contrast to a dictionary which provides definitions. Several exercises are provided to have the reader look up words using these references and use them in sentences.
