With this you can become more understandable and a boost toward the success. Example:- friend is complaining of feeling exhausted after having pulled an overnighter studying for an exam. Out of your own experience, you know what that feels like--you have empathy with his fatigue, and may be able to suggest something that you've done in the past that may help your friend.

A number of books popularized TA in the general public but did little to gain acceptance in the conventional psychoanalytic community. TA is considered by its adherents to be a more user-friendly and accessible model than the conventional psychoanalytic model. A number of modern-day TA practitioners emphasize the similarities with cognitive-behaviorist models while others emphasize different models.
