University of Calcutta offers 4 Yr. B.Tech program under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology
in following streams/ subjects.
Admission after (10+2) level through WBJEE
Eligibility Criteria for admission to 1st Year of 4 Year B.Tech in University of Calcutta
a) WBJEE -2025 Rank
b) Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/ Board in regular class mode
with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (55% for the
reserve Category students i.e. SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD, EWS) marks in the above three subjects
taken together, individual pass marks (both in Theory & Practical where ever applicable) in each
of the subjects and pass marks in English with a minimum of 30% in the said qualifying
examination.
c) JEE Main not applicable.
Candidates selected for verification & admission to 1st year of 4Yr. B.Tech programme mentioned
below in the University of Calcutta through WBJEE board, after counseling are requested to follow
the schedule & instructions:

Candidate must bring the following documents in original along with self-attested
photocopies for verification and admission:
(i) Original allotment letter from W.B.J.E.E Board.
(ii) Original Money Receipt of amount deposited in W.B.J.E.E Board and Bank Challan.
(iii) Original School leaving Certificate from the Principal / Head of the School/
College last attended
(iv) Original Medical Certificate of fitness from a registered Medical Practitioner
which should state Height, measurement of chest, condition of eye-sight and
hearing, bodily infirmities etc. (Format of Medical Certificate available on admission
portal)
(v) Original mark-sheets of Secondary (10th) and Higher Secondary (10+2) or its
equivalent examinations passed.
(vi) Original Birth Certificate.
(vii) Original Rank Card as generated by the W.B.J.E.E Board.
(viii) VALID Original Certificates from appropriate authorities for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-
B/ PWD / TFW/ EWS candidates. (OBC-A / OBC-B with current NCL from the
appropriate authority)
(ix) Domicile Certificate (Format of Domicile Certificate available on admission portal).
(x) Duly filled-in Anti-Ragging declaration (Format of anti-ragging declaration available
on admission portal)
(xi) Two (2) copies of recent colour passport size photo.
(xii) Original Aadhaar Card.
(xiii) Copy of APAAR Id / ABC Id.
