Internship Report
I began my internship on June 27, 2024, at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(LCCI). During the six-week internship, I was assigned to the following departments."

 Research & Development (R&D) Department


 Human Resource (HR) Department
 Membership Department

1 Week
In the first week, the management provided me with an orientation to the Lahore Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (LCCI), where I learned about its history, vision, and objectives, as well as
how it plans to establish and strengthen itself as a major player in Pakistan. I was taken on a tour of
all the departments, where I met the staff and senior management working in those areas. After the
orientation, I was assigned to work in the Research & Development (R&D) department.

2 Week
In the Research & Development (R&D) department, I had the opportunity to learn how to create and update
trade agreements between Pakistan and the Central Asian republics for LCCI members and delegations. I
assisted LCCI members by updating trade information regarding Pakistan and Central Asia, which
comprises five countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. In the third
week, I repeated the same project.

3 Week
During that week of my internship, I worked on the previous project, which consisted of several
components. These included an introduction highlighting Pakistan’s strategic position as a bridge
between South Asia and Central Asia, as well as its potential for increased trade and cooperation.
The project also featured a literature review, research methodology, an overview of the total
countries in Central Asia, the current trade scenario, Pakistan's top imports and exports, bilateral
trade, potential trade opportunities with Central Asia, and an analysis of challenges and issues."

4 Week
In the fourth week, I joined the HR department, where I learned about several tasks, including
 Maintenance of staff Attendance.

 How Do they made entries in their system
I also learned the functioning of HR Department and observed
their requirement procedures. The purpose of human resource
department is to improve the productive constribution of
people to the organization. I also attended a workshop of “HR
professional”.

5 Week
In this week, I attend seminar in woman’s Issuse. Someone
discuss this seminar in woman problems and issues. And in this
week I worked in Membership department. They briefed me
about their daily activities. They maintain the record of their
members, provide them services i.e. issuances of visa
recommendation letter, issuances of membership card,
certificate renewal of membership.

6 Week
In this week I repeated the same work in membership
department. They told me about the thing that are required for
membership. Task that they assigned to me was more related
to practical work and less related to learning. I did activities
checking. That I did in this department.
