LETOURNEAU AGGRESSOR
The Lean Drilling Machine
Introducing the lean approach to drilling shallow to medium depth vertical wells spanning from West Texas to any other place on the globe. The AGGRESSOR rig is the investment focused solution for exploiting oil and gas resources to depths up to 10,000 feet. The AGGRESSOR is a 300,000 lb. single. The design is focused on eliminating any excess, wasted assets, or anything that does not contribute to a safe, efficient drilling process. The AGGRESSOR, an agile trailer mounted top drive rig, represents a new generation of mechanical drilling rigs.
TM
Prominent features of the AGGRESSOR include: 150 ton rated, 706 C-Box mast Custom trailer with integrated drawworks, mast, and top drive Patent pending drilling system Hydraulic pipe boom Eagle Talon Grip pipe wrench 150 ton mast mounted top drive unit The AGGRESSOR is ideal for working in hard to reach urban or heavily forested areas, due to minimal loads and a smaller footprint, and the fact that cranes are not required for assembly.

LETOURNEAU AGGRESSOR
Cost Benefits
1. CREW SIZE: The AGGRESSOR can be operated with as few as two people, as opposed to five on a conventional rig. 2. EASE OF MOBILITY: As a result of fewer loads, the average time from release to spud between wells on different pads (neglecting transportation) is six hours. All major loads are trailer mounted and no cranes are required. A patented four-axle trailer allows raising the front two axles for maneuvering into tight spots. The top drive eliminates the need to drill a rat or mouse-hole. You just raise the mast, make up bottom hole assembly, and spud. 2. SMALL FOOTPRINT: With dimensions of 67 X 90, including tubulars, the AGGRESSORs compact design enables you to rig-up on smaller locations. 4. SIMPLICITY OF DESIGN: The motors and hydraulics are located on a one-piece center section so they are not disconnected during rig moves. Two separate hydraulic systems and reservoirs reduce the chance of contamination and keep the fluid cool. Hydraulic lines are located in trays beneath the rig floor to contain leaks and spills. Hydraulic valves are centralized on the rig and installed with a plug and play format. When operating in remote locations and a valve requires repair, the whole box can be removed and replaced with a new box, allowing the operator to take the failed box back to the shop. 5. HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS: Should compromising height restrictions apply, the mast can be removed by crane in about an hour and transported on a custom designed trailer. 6. SAFETY: Eagle Talon Grip instead of tongs and spinning chains to enhance worker safety Two six-ton winches for lifting accessories to the rig floor, instead of dangerous and outdated cat-heads No derrick man needed during tripping operations Hydraulic pipe tubs for minimal contact and safe transportation of tubulars Low obstacle mud tanks for worker safety
