5 (a). Read the following case and answer the questions given below it.
Three Musketeers is a small-sized ICT Troubleshooting and Transformation Service
Firm promoted by Jigyasu, a commerce graduate. ICT competent personnel comprise
the backbone of the business. In such an industry poaching of employees trained in
small businesses by large, deep pocket firms is common place. Jigyasu remembered
well the lessons on employee empowerment in the HRM sessions and is actively
contemplating the design and implementation of an organisation wide
empowerment programme. He is an adherent to the idea of ‘partners in thick and
thin’ rather than employer-employee contract management. He plans to discuss all this
with his ‘partners in thick and thin.’
