QUESTIONS MY ANSWER
1. The problem on overcoming the non-
numerates and mastery of the four
fundamental operations and its
concept application were really a
challenge to teachers especially in
these times of post pandemic. As
observed by the researcher, many
pupils skipped answering the learning
tasks especially if it requires long
computation and problem solving.
2. grade 5 student struggling in reading
3. Low level of comprehension and
reading skills in science subject.
4. Difficulty in understanding a word
and reading.
5. low interest in solving math problems
Title of the action research: MATHEMATICS
INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO, ITS
EFFECTIVENESS IN THE DELIVERY OF
BLENDED LEARNING

From the title, I think the researcher came up

with a teacher made instructional video called
Project MIV which served as supplementary
material in order to augment the difficulties in
mathematical learning tasks.
I think the researcher conducted a survey to
selected respondents. This allowed the
researcher to identify the reasons why the
pupils experiencing difficulties in answering
learning tasks in Mathematics from the
module.

REFLECT
1. I learned that action research can are really helpful to address the identify needs and
problem, challenges of the student or by the teachers. it helps to make interventions or
solution to all teaching learning problem or to all problematic situation arise in school
community.

2. Yes, I realize that there is a need an action research to address the identify needs and
problem, challenges that arise in the classroom.
ACTION RESEACH PROMPTS

OBSERVE
 I observe that most of the grade 1 student are have difficulty in writing skills and some of
them need guidance to finish their writing task or activity.
REFLECT
 I think the problem solution to the problematic situation above is to assessment to have
intervention to said problem and have tutoring session who have difficulty in writing.

PLAN
 As a future researcher I can plan for an appropriate intervention like tutoring and
conducting action research to know the solution
ACT
 “ impact of difficulty in writing in conducting written activities”

ARTIFACTS
This action research is to develop mental math in addition and subtraction of grade three
learners of Tubigan Elementary School using mobile games, the study consisted 10 grade three
learners from Tubigan Elementary School Binan City as the respondents of the study. The
sample was purposely taken as the researcher specifically used the grade three learners. The
quantitative method was used in this action research using frequency and weighted mean as
instrument in data gathering. The data collected in this study was organized and classified using
descriptive design. The data collected were encoded, tallied and tabulated to facilitate the
presentation and interpretation of results using the frequency, percentage method and descriptive
statistics. The findings were summarised following the order in which the problem of this study
were presented: (1) the results in numeracy level of grade three learners in tubigan elementary
school are very poor and strongly need a focus in studying addition and subtraction equation; (2)
The students are strongly agree on the use of mobile games catch they interest in solving addition
and subtraction equation in terms of satisfaction, effectivity and development and improvement;
(3) The results found out that the mobile games improve solving mental math of the learners. In
the light of the findings the conclusion of the study, the researcher made the following
recommendations: (1) there is need the engagement key stakeholders to improve mental math of
the learners. These include parents, teachers, learner’s mobile games developers and the
department of education; (2) come up with a Tubigan Elementary School Mobile for teaching
and learning awareness campaign. This should engage all schools and be facilitated by the
Department of Education; (3) There is need to have an ICT policy to encourage mobile usage.
