HTT 557: ASSIGNMENT (WEEK 5)

SEMESTER MARCH-AUGUST 2023

1. REQUIREMENT:

a. This is pairing assignment.


b. In this information age, knowledge plays a crucial role to remain competitive.
Planners requireto possess in-depth knowledge of various tourism products
both locally and internationally to plan a destination for sustainable
development.
c. Therefore, students are required to select a unique tourism place/destination
that can or become tourist attraction throughout the world. The place selected
can be found while reading books, magazines, newspapers, blogs or other
method.
d. Make an interesting slide presentation on the chosen topic between 8-10
slides including the reason/s of selecting the place and potential of the place
as a tourism product. The student need to also critique/comment on the place
related to tourism policy and design standards.
e. Lastly, student is required to submit the slides (2 slides in a page) together
with rubric evaluation form.
f. Students who are unable to submit the assignment without valid reason will
be given ZERO.
