Introduction
The study focuses on the need of developing global leadership skills as part of managers'
preparation for their new employment. A leadership development programme is the name given
to the formal effort made by an organization to teach its top executives in order to increase the
skills of those executives. One of the primary objectives of the leadership development
programme is to provide assistance to the senior management of the organization in locating
positions inside the business in which they may put their newly acquired abilities to good use.
Learning how to put a strategy into action is one of the most critical things a leader can educate
them on. This evaluation is meant to serve as a springboard for a conversation about the many
means through which InterestoWorld's newly promoted managers might be properly prepared for
their increased scope of global responsibilities (Sotiriadou et al., 2020). This evaluation devotes
a lot of attention to analysing the differences and similarities between a singular course on global
leadership and a variety of distinct classes. Additionally, the paradigm of transformational vs
transactional leadership will be covered in this essay. The findings of the study are summarized
in a set of suggestions for future action as well as a growth strategy.

With a unified Global Leadership Program, all regional managers may work from the same
playbook. Through honest and open management, InterestoWorld will profit from this. World
leaders need to stress the importance of good communication and cultural awareness across
departments' administrative webs. The regional managers from various countries will benefit
from the multicultural collaborative atmosphere in terms of both learning new skills and
developing a more welcoming and accepting attitude. It has been found, through critical analysis
of a single global leadership development programme, that such programmes are more effective
when they involve participants from different cultural backgrounds. This will guarantee a high
rate of success while teaching the software new things. Constant education and cultural
sensitivity will bring together a wide variety of communities to boost commercial success.
Sundar Pichai
Sundar Pichai is the current CEO of Google and Alphabet. When it comes to developing new
products and services, he is a highly regarded innovation at Google. Pichai now serves as a
director at Alphabet. As a leader, Sundar Pichai is both "creative and critical," and this makes
him an excellent choice. Due to the exponential development of technology, there has never been
a time when new ideas were more urgently required (Gerring et al., 2019). Even more so, he
appreciates novel and potentially game-changing ideas. Sundar Pichai understands and values the
significance of original thought. No matter how high their grades are, an innovative and critical
thinker is more useful than a conventional one since he knows how unique notions contribute to
the formation of future structures. Moreover, aspiring young company entrepreneurs, Sundar
Pichai says, should put "creative problem solving and strategic planning" at the top of their to-do
lists. The ability to make decisions is another one of Sundar Pichai's strengths. Sundar Pichai
uses his good judgement to make decisions that will ensure the continued prosperity of the
organisation. A company's internal structure and bottom line might suffer when leaders spend
days debating a decision without coming up with a solution. Pichai is also well-known for his
humility and kind demeanour. He is equally polite and humble with the average Joe as he is with
the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or a Hollywood star. Not only that, but his heart is made of
pure gold. In light of the continuing outbreak and the ensuing Covid Vaccine scarcity, Google
4
CEO Sundar Pichai has donated $10,800,000,000 USD to assist India buy vaccines and prepare
the medical profession (Osaba et al., 2021).
Bill Gates
Bill Gates has a transformational leadership style that enables him to inspire and grow his team,
encourage open communication and collaboration, set an exemplary example, and encourage
creative problem solving. He is able to do all of these things because he encourages open
communication and collaboration. In the early days of Microsoft, while Bill Gates was serving as
the company's CEO, he employed a management style that may be described as authoritarian in
order to make certain that the business expanded at the rate he had envisioned. C&C is the
pinnacle of effective management for a totalitarian boss. Bill Gates placed a high priority on
revolutionary leadership due to the fact that it came easily to him (Moldoveanu and Narayandas,
2019). Although his tenure at Microsoft is most often identified with this style of leadership, he
was able to adapt it to suit the needs of other organisations when necessary.
● There should be an emphasis on encouraging creative thinking at both the individual and
group levels.
● This is not a manual for building teams, but rather an aid for strengthening and inspiring
individuals.
● A good leader may energise their group by setting an example of decisive action and
delivering clear instructions.
● When there is concrete evidence that the plans being executed will be fruitful, the people
who are following them begin to respect and trust their leaders.
Jeff Bezos
It is well known that Jeff Bezos is a game-changing boss who is able to motivate his employees
to accomplish heights they had never imagined possible before working for him. Bezos places a
high priority on communicating the company's goal to each and every worker. Jeff Bezos's
5
commitment to his customers, rather than his competitors, is one of his greatest strengths as
CEO. places a higher value on his guests' satisfaction than on acquiring an edge over rivals. In
his mind, customers are the special guests at a party, and it is his duty to provide them with an
unforgettable experience while they are patronising the business. His audience is his first
concern, thus he gives them an open email address for suggestions and complaints. Jeff Bezoz
also possesses one additional quality: he lives in the future. When he originally started
Amazon.com, founder Jeff Bezos envisioned it being a worldwide phenomenon. Jeff Nezoz was
instrumental in making this happen because of his vision into the potential of the internet.
Tim Cook
Tim Cook, Apple's current CEO, has been with the company longer than any previous leader
since he took over the company in 2011 when Steve Jobs resigned. There is widespread
agreement that Tim Cook practises management in a manner that is more democratic than Steve
Jobs did. Due to various Cook's leadership, Apple's most talented employees and executives are
able to collaborate effectively and work together as a team. Additionally, one of Tim Cook's
defining characteristics is his humility, which is in addition to his many other admirable qualities
as a leader. Tim Cook has maintained his modesty while rising to the position of CEO of a firm
with revenues in the billions of dollars. He was the type of man who would never lose touch with
his family or his past. His frequent travels to Apple stores provide him the opportunity to interact
with store patrons. When asked what he believed to be the most important component of being a
CEO, Cook responded to Businessweek by saying, "Not allowing oneself to grow insular is
extremely critical." [C]ook is the CEO of Apple.

Employees working for transactional leaders are prompted to do their best by a combination of
praise for a job well done and reprimand for a job poorly done.
The current industrialization, globalization, and competitive climate has made it essential for the
leadership to initiate a high level of performance to achieve corporate objectives and acquire a
competitive advantage over the rivals. So, it is important to incorporate the principles of
transformational leadership into the way one should now approach leadership. argues that
transformational leaders have certain characteristics that allow them to implement significant
changes to their organization’s structures, methods, and procedures. More emphasis is being
placed by management on providing intellectual challenge, treating people as unique individuals,
and exerting a positive, inspirational effect. For a comprehensive leadership development
programme that transcends both organizational and cultural boundaries, InterestoWorld may opt
to incorporate both transactional and transformational leadership theory (Kodama, 2019). Better
results will be initiated more quickly and efficiently due to the joint leadership.
Analysis
InterestoWorld's upper management plays a role in weighing the significance of the
aforementioned variables' divergence and discrepancies while conducting employee evaluations.
InterestoWorld's global managers need to be trained to use a variety of motivating approaches
and strategies that can be implemented in the workplace to strengthen the company's
management structure (Ali and Anwar, 2021). Transformational leaders seek to improve the
working environment and the professional landscape as a whole, as well as to ensure that all
employees have access to the same opportunities. When people work together like this, the
organization has a much better chance of succeeding. However, there is a natural rhythm to this
approach. Even if companies try to keep their employees motivated by being charming, asking
them to work long hours without a break would eventually lead to unhappiness on the part of the
workers. There are a variety of qualities associated with transactional leadership that contribute
to increased efficiency in the workplace. Employees' productivity and efficiency are two key
metrics that transactional leaders focus on (Hoxha, 2019). Providing equitable incentives to
workers is central to this method, as this is what will have the greatest positive effect on them.
However, such a leadership style may not show any empathy for its employees and may be
7
intolerant of their viewpoints. For instance, if the necessary results are not obtained at the
employee's end despite any obstacles, firing may be a possible outcome. As a result, it is crucial
to adopt the combined leadership style in accordance with the needs of the business to ensure the
company's global growth and achieve superior outcomes.
8
of communication across cultures (Jhaiyanuntana and Nomnian, 2020). Companies like
InterestoWorld's executives and managers must recognise and respect their employees' varying
cultural origins and customs. Managers and executives in the InterestoWorld industry must also
learn to read the pulse of their employees' hearts in order to rally them around a shared vision . In
addition, it is critical to learn how to communicate effectively with people from different cultural
backgrounds. To maintain peace and harmony in the workplace, respecting cultural and social
conventions from around the world is essential.
Effective Communication: It may become more challenging for leaders, especially on a global
stage, to convey their ideas clearly and concisely. InterestoWorld processes a great number of
business data per hour, thus effective communication is essential. One of the most crucial
abilities that global executives at InterestoWorld need to develop is the ability to communicate
effectively. Leadership needs to remember the value of being genuine in the workplace while
engaging with their teams (Cardiff et al., 2020). In order to inspire people to work hard and give
their all, it's important to develop their listening and public speaking skills.
Maintaining adaptability and resilience in critical times: When the Covid-19 pandemic first hit,
it exposed a widespread and severe crisis in every industry. The top brass of InterestoWorld
understood the need of remaining resilient in the face of overwhelming odds while still meeting
the needs of the business. InterestoWorld's management is cognizant of the fact that business is
fraught with the possibility of future setbacks (Lysycia et al., 2019). Leaders should maintain
clarity of mind in regards to the preservation and protection of current human resources while
balancing the income through responding, recovering, and flourishing.
Recommendations
● An effective production would be aided by a greater focus on holding world leaders to
account. InterestoWorld takes note of the fact that in addition to training and managing,
the corporation must also become responsible for the results for the team, no matter what
those results may be (Little et al., 2020).Improved emotional acuity is a need that
deserves more attention.
9
● In order for InterestoWorld to be successful in achieving the goals and achieving the
outcomes it has set for the global leadership programme it has established to educate its
chosen worldwide managers, the fundamental competences must be guaranteed to
increase. Training and education have to be aligned with the requirements of the
organisation.
● The leadership and management team of InterestoWorld ought to make studying and
implementing mindfulness practises a top priority. Both fostering an attitude of
cooperation and actively seeking people's feedback as fast as possible are required to
reduce the impact of the dispute.

Review
The training on international negotiations I attended allowed me to get some of my many
questions about global leadership answered. I was able to better define my aims due to the
insight provided by the distinguished speaker. The importance of emotional intelligence in
enhancing one's capacity to negotiate effectively across cultural and national boundaries is
something I have learned a lot about. The class also discussed sophisticated methods for
communicating with customers through digital mediums. The session taught me that the key to
successful international negotiation is a mutual respect for one another's cultural background and
individuality (Richit et al., 2021). What I learned about negotiating with international clients and
keeping in constant contact with them was quite helpful. As I carry out my international
negotiation in a business setting, I intend to make use of digital technologies and characteristics
of showing leadership.
Conclusion
The results of the study show that the major concentration of InterestoWorld's efforts should be
directed at contributing to the progress of the initiative's stated goals for the establishment of
global leadership. It's possible that Bill Gates's emphasis on the transformative leadership style is
the type of leadership that would be most helpful for InterstoWorld as it seeks to expand its
operations in the days and weeks ahead. If so, this would be a good choice. However, it is
feasible that the company might profit by merging two different leadership styles and techniques
13
that have been effective in the past. The standard in the field of strategic management is going to
move toward a concentration on adaptive traits such as fluency in several languages, strong
communication, and the capacity to recover quickly from setbacks. This is expected to become
the norm over the next few years.
