Filipino Socioeconomic Strata Overview

This document discusses social economic strata in the Philippines by defining it as the hierarchical grouping of Filipino families based on economic condition, social role, and family origin. It outlines the three economic levels - upper class, middle class, and lower class. The upper class includes traditional elite families, powerful and influential groups, and instant millionaires. The middle class consists of small business owners and overseas Filipino workers. The lower class is made up of unskilled temporary workers and unemployed, homeless marginalized families.
