PSYCHOSOCIAL: The human life cycle is composed of eight developmental stages, each containing a developmental crisis to be resolved. Psychosocial strength emerges with resolution of the crisis.

STAGE INFANCY (BIRTH TO 1YEAR)

TASK TRUST VS. MISTRUST

JUSTIFICATION She said that she began to trust caregiver when shes in this age bracket according to her mother. At this age she learned to play with her playmates and becomes independent according to her mother.

ACTIVITY DURING AGING: Elderly patients who stay active and maintain or find substitute for activities of middle age are more satisfied with life than elderly patients who do not. Diminished activity is equated with increased social isolation and accelerated physical decline. STAGE INFANCY TO SCHOOL AGE (BIRT TO 12YEAR) TASKS JUSTIFCATION She learned how to walk, talk, and eat and control elimination. She also achieved psychological stability. Learns to differentiate whats right from wrong. She also learned sex differences and able to identity antonyms. The patient develops acceptance of gender role. Also attained emotional and financial independence from parents. Begins to choose for marriage and career. The patient selects mate. Learns to live with her partner starts and rears family and also assumes civic responsibility and has social groups of friend. REMARKS

MORAL DEELOPMENT: From a female perspective: women have moral concerns for others based on their innate nurturing instincts. They maintain social rules and the expectations of family, social group and culture.

JUSTIFICATION The patients decisions on this stage are based on avoiding punishments.
