NARRATIVE REPORT ON ORIENTATION OF GRADE 12-TVL

LEARNERS AND PARENTS FOR JOINT DELIVERY VOUCHER
PROGRAM
S.Y. 2022-2023
In compliance with Republic Act No. 10633 or the Enhanced Basic

Education Act of 2013 and RA 11936 or the General Appropriations Act for
Fiscal Year 2023, Cuyab Integrated National High School conducted the
Orientation of Grade 12-TVL Learners and Parents for Joint Delivery
Voucher Program held last May 15, 2023 at the Ningning Lazaro Building.
The said event aims to enhance the capability of DepEd SHS to implement
the TVL track through a partnership with a private institution that is
equipped with resources to carry out the program. This is effective for the
duration of S.Y. 2022-2023.
The program started at exactly 1 o’clock in the afternoon through the
initiative of the Senior High School Department. Registration and attendance
were already done before the start of the orientation. Among the participants
including 24 learners with their parents or guardians, only 1 student failed
to attend the activity due to an important reason. Ma’am Kiah A. Librea who
was the Master of the Ceremony, ardently welcomed all the attendees
starting from the CINHS students up to the visitors from Lyceum of Alabang.
After the nationalistic song and prayer, Sir Erwin S. Corpuz, the
school head, appreciated the presence of everyone and was able to give a
background of the said event. Sir Corpuz emphasized the effort and time
that the TVL students need to exert in order to finish the program and to
pass the national assessment. He added that parents would need to support
their children in completing the training to enable them to have NCII after.
Ma’am Marynell R. Velasco as the TVL Teacher-Coordinator, presented
the rationale of the program. She made a lucid explanation of what JDVP is
all about including the duration of the program as well as the terms and
conditions to be followed. Ma’am Velasco clarified the benefits and
advantages of the training to the Grade 12-TVL students and how they will

use it upon employment. She highlighted the coverage and content of RA
10533 and RA 11936 in connection to the Joint Delivery Voucher Program
of TVL. The teacher-coordinator clearly discussed the topic and made sure
that participants fully understood the concept of the program.
Ma’am Cheryl E. Gonzales, Lyceum Vice Principal of SHS Department,
introduced the background of Lyceum of Alabang particularly the TVL
laboratories, faculty members, and school rules and regulations. She firmly
enumerated the school protocols that the Grade 12 learners must be
followed while having their training. She explained the importance of JDVP
and why students painstakingly accomplish the task up until achieving the
national certificate (NCII). The speaker gave all her reminders to all the
participants and advised them to never give up and do all means to make
the goal possible.
In order to complete all the needed information, Ma’am Jhonel Rose
M. De La Cruz who is the Senior High School Coordinator presented the
class schedule so that the students will have a smooth flow of their lessons.
After that, an open forum followed. Participants had a chance to voice out
their queries regarding the program. There were three of them who asked
questions. Ma’am Marites R. Navarro, Grade 12-TVL adviser, made the
closing remarks. It was indeed a successful event.

almost complete.

objectives of the said event
Ms. Sheryl E.Gonzales, Vice Principal of Lyceum of Alabang Inc., as she was presenting the sneak-
peek of their school and the connection of her presence in the orientation.
The Senior High School Coordinator, Ma’am Jhonelyn Rose M. De La Cruz, gave a briefing regarding
the new schedule of TVL wherein the JDVP program is included.

There was an open forum being conducted so that the parents and teachers would have the chance
to raise their queries and concerns related to the training and national assessment of TVL students

Grade 12 TVL Adviser, Ma’am Marites R. Navarro, reminded her advisory class in completing the
program to be able to pass the national assessment. She also gave a heartwarming message to TVL
students not to give up and keep on pursuing their dreams.
