Common illnesses encountered for the past 6 months
General Objectives:
The main objectives are to help the residents of Purok 4, Baliok, Toril, Davao City develop,
promote health, prevent and control illnesses, and improve healthy lifestyles that lead to a better
quality of life; to conduct programs that specifically focus on the problems and needs of the
community based on the results of meticulous research and survey in the area, and to provide
excellent learning to nursing students during their COPAR RLE exposure for only a short time.
Specific Objectives that focus directly on the people in the community are as follows:
1. To conduct an ocular survey of the area of Purok 4, Baliok, Toril,
Davao City.
2. To collect, interpret and analyze the data gathered from the
community.
3. To determine demographic data like the number of populations,
number of households, etc.
4. To identify livelihood, way of living, level of sanitation, kind of
education, culture, etc.
5. To present to the community residents their present community
situation during the Culmination Day.
Specific Objectives that focus on the Level III students are as follows:
1. To gain knowledge, skills, and a working attitude during exposure.
2. To be able to apply their learnings in how to conduct seminars and
programs in the actual community setting.
3. To be able to utilize nursing students’ communication skills.
4. To promote camaraderie among themselves.
5. To recognize the value of poor people, and be able to understand the
reality of their condition.
