a. Title: Senior Scouts Investiture Ceremony

Adullt Leaders, 4 BSP- Ormin Officials, 1 Institutional Head

II. Project Objectives
1. To recognize the new scouts after entering in this program.

2. To educate and encourage non- scouts through rewarding program.
3. To entrusts its upcoming leaders with certain roles and responsibilities.
4. Delegate of responsibility and giving authority to scouts is important as it
teaches them lifelong skills and caring at the same time.
1. Project Documentation (Narrative)
Investiture Ceremony is one of the most important ceremonies in

Scouting. It marks the formal acceptance of the boys and girls in the
movement after they have completed the requirements of membership and
have fully understood the essence of Scouting. It gives them the thrill of
belonging to a group and makes them feel ready to face new responsibilities.
The investiture ceremony is the time when a Scout, by means of the

words of the Scout Promise, publicly announces their commitment to the
Scout Law. At the ceremony, the Scout makes the Promise to the Scouts and
Scouters of their troop and to all the Scouts of the world. It is once the
candidate has made the promise that they are a Scout.
The investiture is the beginning of a special time in a young person's

life. Scout-aged children are entering the stage of life when they desire to
break away from their parents, find out about the world, and try to shape
their own identity in it. It is Scouting's desire that a major part of the
identity that this young people form is that of being a Scout.

For most Scouts, making the Scout Promise means making a
commitment that their parents have not. Because of this, the point of
making the Promise is an act of breaking away from their parents; of
asserting a separate identity. If young people have the opportunity to safely
break away from their parents, they will not feel the need to break away in
other, less-safe ways, such as by joining teen gangs or by the use of drugs.
To formally welcome the new members, Inarawan National High

School Scouting Movement conducted Investiture Ceremonies for Boys
Scouts and Girl Scouts, November 25, 2022, 4:00 in the afternoon at
Inarawan National High School. The first part of the program was the
Investiture ceremony of the Girl Scouts who took the oath and rededicate
themselves to the Girl Scouts Promise. It was headed by their GSP
Coordinator Michelle G. Ordansa. After the usual flow of the program the
girls are now formally invested and accepted in the girl scouting movement
through the GSP Representative and Investing Officer, Vilma M. Garcia.
Words of inspiration and messages were given. The last part of the program
was the challenge given by the Institutional Head Marcial M. Acha, Jr.
The second part of the program was the BSP Investiture Ceremony.
The program was headed by the BSP Coordinator, Kerwin S. Zamora. The
boys dedicate themselves to obey and follow the Scout’s Oath and Law at at
all times as they lighted the candles that symbolizes to theor promises that
they will do their best to their duty to God and their Country. After the
usual flow of the program the boys were also formally accepted and invested
in the boy scouting movement through the BSP- Ormin Representatives and
Investing Officers, Zaidy S. Argente, Bella C. Ebreo, and Cesar A.
Hernandez. Words of inspiration were also given. The last part of the
program was the challenge given by the Institutional Head Marcial M. Acha,
Jr. that they should always live up with the scouts oath and law.

the conduct of the activity for your reference.
