Good Day everyone. Once again, I am Phoebe Belardo and for today’s video, I am
going to present our Learning Episode 15 which is entitled Towards Teacher Quality:
OBSERVE
Observe and record observation on the following aspect as a key guide to
observation.
ANALYZE
Answer: When I become a special education teacher, I believe that the most important
behavior to emulate is a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning
environment. A special education teacher should strive to create an inclusive and
supportive learning environment that is welcoming and respectful of all students,
providing them with the necessary resources and accommodations to ensure they can
access the curriculum and participate in the classroom.
3. Which of the major responsibilities does this teacher find difficult to comply
with? Why?
4. From your perspective, would you consider this teacher as quality teacher?
Why?
REFLECT
1. Are you inspired to become a teacher in the future after your observation? If
yes, why? If no, why?
Answer: After observing teachers in action, I was inspired by their passion and
enthusiasm for teaching, their ability to connect with students and create a bond of
trust and respect, and their ability to use different teaching methods to reach different
types of learners. This has motivated the me to pursue a career in teaching, believing
it to be a noble profession with the power to shape the future of society.
2. When you become a teacher in the future, how else would you do better as a
professional teacher?
Answer: I am actually aspiring to be a professional teacher in the future. I will plan to
create a positive learning environment for the students, where they feel safe,
respected, and supported. And also plan to be an effective communicator and
educator, staying up to date on the latest educational trends and best practices. Finally,
I will plan to be a role model and mentor for their students, providing them with the
support and guidance they need to reach their goals.
3. What are some of the concerns that you foresee in the future as a quality
teacher? Do you think you will be ready to address these? Give atleast 2
concerns.
Answer: As a quality teacher, I foresee two major concerns in the future: the
increasing use of technology in the classroom and the need to differentiate instruction
for students with different learning styles and abilities. I actually taken the subject
educational technology and has experience using technology in the classroom, as well
as creating lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. I am confident that I have
the skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful quality teacher.
4. In what aspects of the teacher’s day, would you like to congratulate the
teacher you observed? Can you show your appreciation to this teacher by
sending a Thank you card?
Answer:The teacher I observed was highly praised for her ability to engage the
students, stay organized and prepared, manage the classroom, build relationships with
her students, and show enthusiasm and passion for teaching. So I believe that a thank
you card is a good idea or way to show appreciation for her hard work and dedication.
