Playful Learning

One of the main ways in which children learn and develop. It helps to build self-worth by
giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. 

Spontaneous Play

kind of play in which children engage in self-will and are not guided or directed by a teacher
or an adult.

Developmentally Appropriate Practices

It is also known as DAP - is a teaching perspective in early childhood education where a


teacher nurtures a child’s development (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive)

Freely chosen Play

 It is when a child decides and controls their play following their own instincts, imagination
and interests.  They play without being led by adults and there’s no right or wrong way to
play. 

Individual Differences

  are defined as individual traits that distinguished one from another individual.

As a future educator we have to know the appropriate assessment in order to provide better
activities . We have to consider the diversity of each student so that they will grow in a unique
way. Plus it aids teachers in considering how to adapt activities and lessons to the interests and
developmental requirements of a the students. If we have the knowledge we can easily address
the needs of our students. So it's important to know what is the appropriate assessment for each
child.

As a future educator, How will you include a student’s/ learners with disabilities in an outdoor
play activities? Write at least 5 sentences 
As a future teacher we must be aware of the conditions of our students especially outdoor play.
We must create a play that is applicable for students with disabilities like painting, or materials
found in nature so everyone will enjoy . They can also draw the nature by looking at the clouds or
flowers. We must remember that the activity must be appropriate for everyone so the learning will
take place . We can also use a ball so even a student with dis ability can play while sitting on the
ground they have to pass the ball.
