INSIGHT
1. Basing now on your observations and description of your former school
what is now your conclusion regarding the importance and impact of the
school environment in the life of the learner?
School plays a crucial role in the life of the learners. It is where they
start building their dreams and work hard in achieving it. It is where they learn
things that they were not taught in their home and it is what they call as their
second home. The school environment shapes the life of learner; it was a training
ground that equipped learners with essential knowledge and skills that they can
use in the battlefield. It encourages the learners to learn and to be better, for
it provides real-life experiences where you would learn through your own
reflection. Because it was a training ground, we cannot run from temptations,
where it depends on you whether you will be tempted or you are strong enough to
set aside those temptations. School environment can shapes students’ lives,
school will always aim for the betterment of all the learners where they do their
best to deliver and impact the learners on positive ways, but every experiences
and lessons you learn in the school are all essential because when you look back,
you can always see that the time you spend in school have contribute a lot to the
person you are now.
2. What kind of a.) School Campus and b.) Classroom is conducive to
learning?
a. School Campus
A school campus that is conducive for learning is when the school fosters
equal rights to learners to be educated. The environment should be clean and
learner-friendly school. It is conducive for learning when it can provide all the
learning equipment’s that helps in the learning process of the learners and as well
as the people that is part of the school must also genuinely cares for the
learners welfare and are dedicated and compassionate with their chosen
profession. Lastly I a school campus that is conducive for learning, when it
supports, guide and helps the students grow and upholds values that are essential
in our life.
INSIGHT
a. Classroom
A classroom that is conducive for learning is when the classroom will be
comfortable for learners the whole time of learning, where they feel that it is
their second home and they are accepted no matter who they are. It must be well-
lighted and well ventilated and provide learners with chairs which are in a good
condition. Lastly, it is conducive for learning, when the teachers promotes a
positive environment where learners will not be in fear and is able to freely
express themselves without receiving any judgments.
3. As a future teacher how will you able to achieve your answer in number 2?
As a pre-service teacher, I can achieve those things by putting in into action
and be responsible of that action. I make sure that what I have learned in my
preparatory study will be used as my guide to accomplish and will be used in a good
way. And lastly no matter how hard it will be, because along the way there will be a
lot of challenges, I will do my best to deliver and foster a school campus and a
classroom that can provide a conducive learning to the learners.
MY PERSONAL ILLUSTRATION OF AN EFFECTIVE SCHOOL
ENVIRONMENT
The sketches and pictures was not mine but for me this is the illustration of an
effective school environment.
School is essential part of the learner’s life so it is important that school have
an effective school environment. Effective school environment is when the school
fosters providing equal high quality education to its learners and this includes having
all the facilities and equipment’s that will support the learning process of the
learners. An effective school environment is when it is comfortable for the learners,
it is where they feel safe and focus on striving hard to achieve their goals and
dreams. An effective school environment supports and caters the needs of the
learners and helps them to go beyond their limits and push them towards success.
And an effective school environment is when it is able to produce holistic learners
that uphold values all throughout their lives.
It was not easy to achieve but if every part of the school will support and take
part it in having an effective school environment for the learners it will always be
possible.

Based on what you have observed from the learners on the
video. For each domain described, list down three (3)
implications for the teachers. Example: The students showed
interest on the lesson thus it would be good if the teachers
become more innovative in their teaching strategies.
IMPLICATIONS
Every domain is important to monitor the progress and development of the
learners. Watching the video it helps me to fully understand that these three
domains exist and is performed by the learner and for me to be able to be aware
of its implications.
The first domain implies that the learners are willing to participate in any
school activities thus it would be good if the teacher will use activities that
would help them develop the first domain. Learners also shows that they can
perform and enjoys activities with body movement thus it would be good if the
teacher will be more innovative and creative that would provide strategies that
would challenge the learner physically. Lastly learners know themselves what
they can do and what they cannot, thus it would be good if the teacher will be by
their side guiding them to discover more the things that they can do and help in
improving it.
The second domain implies that learners have an interest in building
harmonious among other learners, thus it would be good if the teacher will be
able to use strategies that would help maintain a strong relationship among the
learners. Learners shows interest in learning, thus it would be good if the
teacher would be able to provide opportunities to each learner to develop their
own personal abilities. Lastly, learners knows how to interact with other people,
thus it will be good if the teacher will still be able to help them in making good
interaction through exposing them to different innovative and creative
strategies.
IMPLICATIONS
The third domain implies that learners are aware on how they
would express their emotions, thus it would be good if the teacher will be
more innovative and use teaching strategies that would help them
monitor their emotional development. Learners enjoy and happy whenever
they help the other learners, thus it will be good if the teacher will
expose them to other activities that would help them express more
positive emotions. Lastly learners, have their own way on expressing their
emotions, thus it will be good if the teacher will be at their side
whenever they need them and expose them to a more real-life
experience activities that would help them develop this domain.
The fourth domain implies that, learners shows how valuable
education was for them, thus it would be good if the teacher will also
take part and to be more committed and compassionate to make an
impact in the learning process of the learners. Learners showed that
they have their own pace of learning, thus it would be good if the teacher
will continuously provide innovative and creative activities that would
challenge the abilities of the learner. Lastly the learner shows that they
are different learner’s, thus it will be good if the teacher could cater all
of their needs and ensure that no learners was being left behind.
Achieving these implications was a challenge but what is important
is you are willing to take the challenge and is prepared to put it into
action.
REFLECTIONS
1. Based on the documentary video, what are the salient points that
you have observed on the teachers role and tasks?
Teacher’s role does not end in the four corners of the classroom
teachers have the ability to reach the learners outside the four corners.
Simply, teacher’s role was to teach, educate, and inspire the students, but
in the video it provides a deeper role and tasks that will give a sense of
fulfillment once it was accomplished. Before the class starts the teachers
were the one who works hard to prepare everything, to ensure that when
the start of the classes they won’t be facing big problems, they learn how
to sacrifice their time with their family whenever they need to choose
their profession. Teachers share and contribute their skills and abilities
and they work together to get the work done. Teachers believe and always
consider the learners in every step they made; they always ensure that it
will be for the goodness of their learners. What I like the most was
teachers do those things not because it was their job but because it is
what is right and just and they put their hearts into it. And as I watched
the documentary I can feel how they heart speak on how deliver the lesson
to their learners in the midst of pandemic.
2. What are the salient points that you have observed on the role of
the parents?
We always salute with the sacrifices and love of a parent. They
were the one who first believe in us and they are the one who showers us
with an ever ending support that is really needed in challenging times.
Parents were always at our side through thick and thin, whenever life gets
hard sacrificing our education will be the last that they will give up,
because they always wants us to finish our study because they don’t want
their children to be like them. Parent’s role is essential because they are
also essential in the life of the learners.
REFLECTIONS
3. With what you have watched, what are the implications of the new
normal that you can think of on the part of the learners?
The way we deliver the education is not constant, we should always
expect that it would be challenged by time and would need to make changes.
The new normal was new and a lot of negative feedbacks were raised but
don’t you think that instead of throwing hate and being against it, learners
must be finding out on how would it be? What they should do to make the
new normal much easier for all of us. As a learner we should learn how to
adapt to these changes because it is not about the way on how you learn it
will always be about how willing you are to learn, because it will make things
possible. We don’t know when will everything will be back to normal, but as
much as we can we should slowly accept that maybe this will be our new
normal, and instead of making things hard for all of us, we should do our
part and think of ways on how we would help to lessen the impact of the new
normal to us and to the community as a whole.
