As I watch the TEDx Santo Domingo I realized that a great teacher builds great relationship with the students.

They create
trust by appreciating the student’s simple gift. A great teacher don’t take things really serious, the reports, paper works and other
activities is common to teachers and a great teacher should do this things properly and not overwhelmed. A great teacher loves to
learn, everyday they are improving and seeking things to contribute to the learning process of the students. A great teacher helps
students, if they struggle. And of course a great teacher take risks and explore things that it is outside their comfort zones.

No, the following competencies should be also acquired by all the people to be a great person. Having this
kind of characteristics will help them to achieve the success they want to achieve.

No, for a teacher to be great you should also have the personal attributes and qualities. Making lesson plan, execute a lesson
plan, manage a class, assess learning and computing report grades are part of their profession and their responsibility. Being a great
teacher is making you class listen to you, building good relationship with the students and other people will also makes you to be a
great teacher.

For a teacher to be great, for me the more important is the personal qualities rather than the professional
competencies because being professional is having a good personal qualities. Professional competencies can be learn
but your personal qualities will be your mirror that reflects your whole personality as a professional.

The teachers that the students remember the most are those teachers who not just teach but those who are
creating good relationship with the students. Providing a quality but friendly teaching strategies that will enable the
students to learn and at the same time to have fun in their learning process.

The personal trait that I possess is being appreciative, I appreciate those kind and good treat of the students
to me. Every single effort they did to achieve their goal really makes me feel so happy and great. I want to improve the
way I communicate with others, the way I speak and tell what I want to say.

A professional competency that I am capable of demonstrating is the punctuality and being innovative. Making
reports and other paper works on time shows that I really can manage my time properly. Being innovative and creative to have
a presentable outcome of my work is my capability. Professional competency can be learn, we should make some effort in
order us to become more capable of the professional competencies.

A competency that I need to develop is being a risk taker, I am afraid to going outside my comfort zone. So
with that, I will explore and try more other activities in order for me to discover more things that will help my future
student in their learning journey with my teaching techniques.

dont understand how the teacher teach the lesson maybe they will understand if their classmates teach them.

Having learners who experience emotional problem need help and attention came from teacher. A
teacher should approach and give some advices to the learners to motivate and inspires the learners

Being a good teacher is a really noble profession, there are a lot of problems that you might encounter
along your teaching journey. And as time passed by, encountering those challenges will surely get you a better
teacher because you will become a solution seeker. Different strategies, techniques and other activities you will be
discover in solving problems. This strategy will nurture you as a teacher and improve your teaching skills.
I observe that one of problematic situation prevails in the classroom is the unequal
opportunity or distribution of labor of the learners in terms of their group activity.

I want to change this situation, learners should have a fair cooperation of every groupmates in
every group activities. Every group members should contribute and share their ideas and knowledge
about the activity to have a collaborative output

The strategy that I will use to improve the situation is, the teacher will distribute the different
task of each group member randomly so that they will have their duties for the group without any bias.

My conducive learning environment

A conducive learning environment is an environment that has a good and

comfortable physical classroom and facilities. Clinic when I fell sick to avoid the
instances of skipping class. Guidance office that give some advice and help me feel
relieve when I feel bad and sad. Library that helps me on my assignment and gives
additional information about the lesson that contributes to our class discussion. The
laboratories for the experiments and other activities, this makes me feel excited and
amazed to discover some incredible science tricks. My conducive learning environment
has the auditorium to enhance the skills and talents of the students in terms of
performing in front or on stage. School that has gymnasium for us to experience
outdoor games that develop the physical, social and mental health of the students and
letting them to be engage in different school activities. A clean, well ventilated and
well lighted classroom that brings a comfortable surrounding for the student and other
people encourage to work effectively during class hours.

A conducive learning environment consists of a friendly and accommodating

staffs that surrounds the entire learning environment. This encourages the students to
keep motivated and inspired with their learning journey. With the sense of
belongingness and support from the school to the students, a conducive learning
environment will provide a quality education for everyone that helps the students to
have a brighter and better future. Having a conducive learning environment makes the
learning journey of the students memorable and unforgetful for the students.

A great classroom environment comes from the heart not from the material things.

It is the passion and dedication that everyone will belong

The school that I visit few years ago when there is face-to-face is the school in our community which is
Sta. Ana Elementary School. I remember that the entire classroom is very spacious that can accommodate thirty
to forty students inside that class. And there is still a space for their mini reading corner, a comfort room and
mini bookshelves. The room arrangement is very organize that causes all of the students to focus on the board
and they can move the chairs freely in every activity that will be doing. The classroom’s visuals are very
attractive, there are painting of the solar system and planet on the ceiling while there are paintings of different
plants in the walls the classroom environment really stimulates the learning of the students. The classrooms are
well ventilated and follow proper care for students that can able them to feel comfortable and safe.

The psychological environment of the school provides factors to have a well-organized school. To promote
peace and unity, the school has its rules and regulations to follow by all the students, teachers and parents. They are
focused on the punctuality, discipline and kindness. Teachers are responsible and very dedicated in motivating
learners to learn. The strategies and different teaching techniques give chance and experience for all the students to
share knowledge and ideas that they know to interact with the classroom discussion.

Elementary students are developing their social life with the primary level. The learning
environment of the school during face-to-face class gives opportunity for all the students to interact with
their classmates positively. The good manners and right conduct is addressed during different classroom or
school activities. Different students have also different needs and learning capability. The school make
learning environment flexible that can give a quality education for all students.
