Write an essay using the guide questions that follow.
 Who are the characters in the story? Where are the settings?
Father of Cinderella, Cinderella, Prince (King’s Son), Two Stepdaughter, Stepmother. A
few of the settings are inside the small cottage house with the stepsisters/mother, but
the most popular setting is the castle's ballroom, where Cinderella meets the prince.
 Would you know another story like the theme of the story? What does the theme of
the story tell us?
The Story of Sleeping Beauty is almost like send Cinderella’s Story. They were both
maltreated.
 Where do you think the story came from? Who originally wrote the story? Where do
you think the story is derived from?
It was written in French by Charles Perrault in 1697. The story was derived from the
writer’s imagination.
 What are the commonalities and differences from the different versions of the story?
The common of the story is the glass shoes. The difference of the story on the first video
is the Cinderella help the poor lady to have a glass of water then after that the poor lady
become a Fairy God Mother and the second video is the father gave her daughter a
hazel twig which Cinderella plants at her mother’s grave.
