Program Proper:
I. Purpose
1. To let students (voters) meet and understand the candidates.
2. To give the candidates a chance to explain their platforms and prove themselves as worthy student
leaders.

II. Rules
1. Candidates must observe time limit. The facilitators shall be strict with time.
2. Stick to issues and platforms, not personalities. Observe this also during the open forum.
3. The members of the audience (during Facebook live) must observe proper behavior (no jeering,
“boo”s) - respect to the candidates.
4. Do not repeat questions that have already been asked.
5. Address questions to the candidates relevant to their position.
6. Ask relevant and sensible questions - personal questions regarding the candidate will not be
entertained.

III. Schedule
A. Introduction
Party Introductions (10 minutes)
6 - 10 minutes SANA OL will introduce themselves and their platforms
6 - 10 minutes PLAYERS will introduce themselves and their platforms

Independent Candidate Introductions (5 minutes)


3 - 5 minutes Independent candidates will introduce themselves and their
platforms

B. Question & Answer Portion (10 minutes)


The facilitators shall ask one question per position. Each candidate must answer the
question in one minute. The facilitators will observe strict time limit.

The student body may ask questions to the candidates. If a question is addressed to the
party, the party may choose a representative to answer. The other candidates may rebut the
answers (1 minute). The candidates may reply (1 minute).
