Lesson Plan in Mathematics V

Yes, our past lesson was all about the perimeter of basic shapes like square, rectangle, triangle and circle. We learned that perimeter is the distance around a shape. And to find the perimeter of a circle we use the formula: Perimeter of a circle = 2 x π x Radius or Perimeter of a circle = π x Diameter Where π is approximately 3.14 So in summary, our past lesson was about finding the perimeter of basic shapes like square, rectangle, triangle and circle. We used formulas to calculate the perimeter of each shape. ii. presentation Alright, so for today's lesson we will

Good morning class

Before we start our class let us pray first

Please pick up the pieces of paper under your chair

So how’s your weekend?

That’s good! Have you enjoyed your weekend
bounding with your family?

That’s good to know. For this morning our

discussion is all about area of circle. But before we
start our lesson we will sing a song. About math,
please stand.

Circle Song 2
Here is a circle it knows how to get around, it has a
radius from center to rim, and its diameter is a line
that goes from side to side while passing through
the center, now isn't that simple

[Chorus]
PI R SQUARED SOUNDS LIKE AREA TO ME! WHEN I
NEED THE CIRCUMFERENCE ILL JUST USE PI D! PI R
SQUARED SOUNDS LIKE AREA TO ME! WHEN I NEED
THE CIRCUMFERENCE ILL JUST USE PI D!

i. recall

before we begin our lesson let us have a recap on

our past lesson. So who can still recall our past
lesson yesterday?

Very good!
