APPLICATION CABLE STANDARDS

Halogen free, low smoke, fire resistant collective screened NEK 606 S4/S8, IEC 60092-376
instrumentation and telecommunication cable for fixed IEC 60092/350-351-359
installation in signal and communication applications. Suitable BS EN/IEC 60332-1, BS EN/IEC 60332-3-Cat A
for installation in all marine environments such as muddy, wet, BS EN/IEC 60331
dry and oily conditions. BS EN/IEC 60754-1 and 2
BS EN/IEC 61034-E1 and 2 DIN EN 50268-1 and 2
IEC 60092-359

The electrical and dimensional properties of this product are measured by the
BS EN 60228 (previously BS 6360) Technical and Quality Assurance department at the Eland Cables laboratory. Cable
performance in respect of conductor resistance, construction quality (workmanship),
Separator dimensional consistency, and other parameters are verified to published standards
Mica glass tape and approved product drawings. Conformance to RoHS (Restriction of the use of
Hazardous Substances) is determined and confirmed.
