BENEFITS FROM 941.81 KWP SOLAR POWER PLANT:

Economic
The project has an estimated Annual Generation of 1,413,431 KWh/Year from the 941.82
KWp PV solar system based on the Radiation in the Dubai region. Also DEWA provides Net
Metering facility to export any surplus power generated to DEWA grid, each month only the
Net amount shall be payable by the customer

Social
Solar reduces air pollution: Harmful carbon dioxide and methane emissions from fossil fuels,
our traditional energy source, are leading contributors to global warming and
decreased air quality. But generating electricity with solar panels produces no greenhouse
gasses whatsoever, 1,413,431 kWh /Year equivalent to 27261 tree seedlings grown for 10
years or 118364 gallons of gasoline not consumed or resist emission of 1052 metric tons of
Carbon Dioxide Equivalent.

It also supports diversifying the energy mix by promoting the use of clean and renewable
energy sources to build a sustainable future for the UAE Vision 2021.

RETURN OF INVESTMENT (ROI) & ELECTRICITY BILL SAVING ANALYSIS

As the price of grid-connected solar power systems has decreased dramatically over the last
few years, investing in a system now produces a high return on investment (ROI) making it
far more attractive than putting your money in bank term deposits or similar investments.

The 941.82 KWp on-grid PV solar system project has an estimated Annual Generation of
1,413,431 KWh/Year; thus the Customer can reduce 1,413,431 Units from the DEWA
electricity bill. In this project, we considered DEWA red slab Electricity tariff for
Commercial category which is 0.44 AED/KWh for consumption more than 6000 KWh per
month plus 0.065 AED/KWh for fuel surcharge.

The report of solar power plant has been generated by using PVsyst software to get all details
of electricity production from proposed solar power plant, we compared and calculated
monthly and yearly production result with electricity bill provided from the . As a result,
customer, the client will save 20% of total electricity consumption (As per the electricity
details provided to us).

As a rough initial estimation of ROI, your capital investment on Solar will be paid back in
first 5 years, and further each year you have electricity cost saving 8340,000 AED as a price
of utility electricity expected to rise significantly as subsidies on electricity are removed for
next 25 years. The cumulative profit from this project after 25 years will be around
15,931,509 AED, while the Net Present Value equal to 4,947,391 AED and the Internal rate
of return will be 19%.
