2.2. Fixed issues
The following issues are solved in this firmware.
1. On the MFP with SD-511 is installed, the MIB value for "Tri-Fold" is "not available". [RIBJ__1300651435]
2. When the staple of FS-534 is unset by Problem Unit Isolation set, "Now printing"continues to be displayed if preforming the
copy job. [PEBJNG1300647703]
3. On the MFP with JS-602 is installed, Jam occurs when the exit tray is switched. [PEBJTK1300651426]
4. When the document saved in User Box is printed from PSWC, all job is counted as Color job. [PEBJTS1300659248]
5. When receiving FAX job, C-FA14 (detail codes:0x910C) may occur. [PEBJTK13001609]
6. When MFP is connected with RightFAX, multiple page documents can not be sent from RightFAX. [PEBUS_1300664467]
7. If printing the PS file, error occurs. [PEBUS_1300665073]

8. The deactivation complete code is not displayed if MFP is rebooted after the deactivation request code is entered.

9. When User Authentication is OFF, print job having following USERNAME is not printed due to Login Error.

11. Panel lock may occur if Login is repeated by IC card while the Panel Keyboard is displaying.
12. When jam occurs in the Dual Scan Document Feeder with 2-Sided mode, C-E301 occurs if the following procedure is
operated.
-The number of original less than the reset number of original is set in the Dual Scan Document Feeder and restart.
3. Functional restrictions
1. If the main switch is turned OFF and ON while saving the Fax job in User Box, the thumbnail is not displayed correctly for a
moment.
2. The following characters can enter into Host name from the control panel.
- "." and "-"
* Refer to the Readme.txt file which is included in each driver and application for other functional restrictions.
* Additional memory installation is required when using the following Open API function.

4. How to install
4.1. How to install program
Use USB memory to install. For the details, see the Service Manual.
Conditions for USB memory which can be used for updating the firmware are as follows:
- Securities such as data encryption and password lock shall be released, or the security function shall be turned Off.
- Memory with 1 GB to 2 GB are recommended (One with 4 GB or more may not operate)
- Compatible with USB Version 1.0/2.0 interface
- Formatted with FAT32 type
- A USB flash memory that appears as multiple drives on a computer cannot be used.
4.2. How to upgrade/downgrade firmware

[Definition of terms]
Function Version 2: Firmware Version ver.Gxx-42 and earlier.
Function Version 2 MR(Maintenance Release) Version: Firmware for Function Version 3 Version ver.Gxx-63 and later.
(There are not enhancement functions of Function Version 3.) “Function
Version2“ has equal functions.
Function Version 3: Firmware for Function Version 3 Version ver.Gxx-63 and later.

4.2.1. Upgrade
4.2.1-1. Firmware upgrading procedure from Function Version 2 to Function Version 3.
1. If the Voice Data/Movie Data for Function Version 2 has been already installed, delete it in Service Mode.
2. Install the Firmware for Function Version 3 to MFP.
3. Turn OFF/ON the main switch.
4. Change Software Switch Setting to the following in Service Mode.

6. Install Voice Data/Movie Data for Function Version 3 to MFP.
Please upgrade the printer drivers for Function Version 3 if MFP is upgraded to the Firmware for Function Version 3.
Because, the Device Information can not be obtained and other problems may occur. And please also upgrade the
Applications.

Attention: You can not use the Addition of function / Change of specifications (excluding "*1") and the Settings for Function
Version 3.

Install Font Data for USB using USB memory.

4.8. How to install Loadable Driver
1. Extract the attached exe file and save “xxxxxx.tar” file to root directory of USB memory.
2. Insert the USB memory to USB port of MFP.
3. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
4. Touch [System 2] -> [Driver Install].
5. Touch [SET] and press “Start” button to start installing the data.
6. Check that data is normally installed from the message that appears on the control panel.
