A zoo is a place where different animals and birds are kept. It is a
great attraction to children. Last Sunday, I went to the zoo with my
parents and twin brothers. It is situated at Jalan Ampang in Kuala
Lumpur. We bought the tickets at the entrance and went inside.
First, we saw a lion. I heard a tremendous roar from it. The lion
stood proudly like a true king, sporting a kingly mane that looked
grand and royal. Then we saw some tigers in huge cages. Next, we
went to the enclosures of the leopards, elephants, bears and foxes.
After that, we saw the monkeys and birds. The monkeys were
jumping from one branch to another.
The birds in the zoo were very beautiful. I was excited to see
them. I saw some unique looking birds for the first time. We also saw
some other water birds like ducks and cranes. Then we moved to the
crocodile enclosure. They were resting. Finally, we saw snakes such
as pythons and cobras. We spent six hours in the zoo before going
home. We enjoyed ourselves there.
