Goveriunenti hereby ma,kesthe following Regulations to
amend the Principal Regulations, 2007caUed "OCl's
Revised BOS Course Regulations, 2007":..1. Short title and commencement:--(i)
These
" Regulations m~y be called the Dental Council 'of India
RevisedBDS Course(2ndAmenclment) [Link];2010.
(ii) They shall come bito force from the date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Revised BOS Course Regulations.2007, the
foliowing additionslmodificationsldeletioilslsubstitutions.
shall be as indicated therein:3. In Chapter I under'theheading "Admission to the
DentalCourse-Eligibiiity Criteria ", the followiltgshall be
added after sub-clause 2 (t):"3. 3% seats of the annual sanctioned intakecapa.
city shall be filled up by candidates with locomo~ory
disability of lower Umbsbetween SO%to 70%. .
Provided that in case any IIcat in this 3% quota
remains unfilled on account of unavailabity of

limbs between SQ% to 70% then any such unfilled
scat in this 3% [Link] filled up byper~ons
with locomotory disability of lower limbs .between .
40% to SO% before they are included in the annual

Providedturther that this entire exercise' shall be
completed by each Dental College/Institution as per
the statutory time schedule for admissiol)s,andin no
'caseany admission will be made in the BOS course
after 30th of September."
.4: The' following proviso shall be added before the
clause S (ii) under the heading "selection of students",
"Provided that the eligibility criteria for admission to
persons with locomotory disability oflower limbs in
terms of Clause 3 above-will be a minimumof 45%
marks instead of 50 % taken together in qualifying
examination and competitive entrance examination
for admission in BOS course:'
