EU Programmes Agreement

The Federal Council approved the EU Programmes Agreement which forms the legal basis for Switzerland's participation in EU research and innovation programmes, namely Horizon Europe, Euratom, ITER, Digital Europe, Erasmus+ and EU4Health. Switzerland and the EU initialled the agreement in Brussels on 2 April 2025; signature is planned for November 2025.

SERI news portal devoted to education, research and innovation

The State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation is providing information about its latest projects and activities on a dedicated news portal www.e2-news.ch. News updates will be provided in German and French as well as in some cases in English when the content is intended for an international readership.
